LET’S PLAY, AUSTRIA!

The first fair of the austrian game scene! Game developers, educational establishments and initiatives from all over Austria are presenting their games and activities on 800 m2, plus lectures and presentations, DIY stations, a game history- and an art exhibition.

On the occasion of the trade fair PLAY AUSTRIA, all players from the Austrian games scene will gather for the first time on September 15–16, 2017, at the Semperdepot in Vienna to present their projects. In an exhibition space of 800 m2, visitors can enter free of charge and explore the offers, activities, and games from developer studios, educational institutions , and initiatives from all over Austria and also engage in conversation with creative minds.
On the LETS PLAY Stage, informative talks and discussions on the topic of games will be held. Interactive DIY stations, a game history area, and an art exhibition round off the varied accompanying programme and invite the visiting public to engage in creative activity.

Broken Rules

Since 2009, Broken Rules has been developing unusual computer games which captivate with their unique artistic style and with themes that go far beyond common game clichés. In the current project Old Man’s Journey, for example, players experience the moving life story of an elderly man. The team working with Felix Bohatsch, Clemens Scott, Jan Hackl, Peter Vorlaufer, and Martin Pichlmair has won many international prizes with its games, which have been released on iOS, PC, Nintendo, and Android platforms.
